How Do I Order ?

Ordering is easy! Simply find the product you are interested in and if you wish to buy, enter the number required and add it to your basket. When you have finished shopping, click on "View Basket" and you will be taken through the checkout process.
If you experience problems ordering please do not hesitate to contact us on 01227 730242 and we will help you.
If it is the website that is causing the problem please, again, call us and your order can be sorted out over the phone.

Online via the website
Over the phone
By post - simply phone, email or post your order with a cheque for the relevant amount including delivery.

Once you have ordered, and payment has been accepted, you will receive an automated confirmation email from us detailing your order. You will also receive a payment confirmation email from Worldpay (if you paid by credit/debit card) or Paypal (if you chose that payment option). At a later stage you will receive an email from the nice lady in the office advising when your order will be sent. If your order is being sent via courier you will be given an exact delivery date (which can be changed if inconvenient).

During checkout, you will notice a comments section - please use this section to advise us of anything relating to your order that you think we should know, eg, where it can be safely left if you are out.

Payment Options

RBS Worldpay
is our payment processor for credit and debit card payments. Therefore please choose Worldpay as your payment option if you are paying by card. Your payment via Worldpay is highly encrypted, secure and private. We don't see your financial information at all. Once payment has been made you will receive an automated email from us detailing your order and a payment confirmation email from Worldpay.

Paypal
If you have a Paypal account you may wish to pay using that. Simply select Paypal as your payment option. Once ordering is complete you will receive an automated email from us detailing your order and a payment confirmation email from Paypal confirming your payment.

Phone
If you prefer you can order online but pay over the phone - during checkout there will be the option to choose phone payment. Alternatively you can find what you want in the shop and then do the whole ordering process over the phone. Worldpay will be used to process the payment, using the same high security and encryption as if you paid online. Once payment is made, your credit/debit card details will be destroyed.

Cheque
Finally, although going out of fashion these days, you can still pay by cheque. If you order online there will be the option to select cheque payment during checkout. We will thenreceive a copy of your order and can tie it up with the cheque when it arrives. Alternatively you can email or phone your order through and then send a cheque.

Delivery Charges

Clicking the delivery box on the left will explain the delivery charges. We try to keep these as low as possible and often end up subsidising them a bit anyway! The delivery charge applied to your order will be displayed during checkout before your order is finalised so that you know exactly what you are paying. Packaging

Boxes are recycled wherever possible. Your plants will be securely packed in bubblewrap, newspaper, anything really that can be used to buffer and wrap them in the box. Plug plants will be supplied either in their plug trays or wrapped in bubble wrap or in a bag, depending on the plants and the best way to wrap them safely.

Is the Nursery Open to the Public ?

Sorry, but we are not open to the public. However, if you are local and wish to pick up your plants instead of paying a delivery charge, then please let us know.

Provenance of Our Seeds and Plants

All wildflower seed grown or supplied is of UK origin. Seed packets will have the place of origin listed on them. If we buy plants in we try to ensure that they have been grown in the UK and from UK seed.

Grow to Order ?

You tell us what you want and we will grow it for you! we can also source plants if what you are after is not available from the nursery.

Data Protection

Rest assured that we do not share your details with anyone and your financial details are destroyed if you pay over the phone

How Environmentally-friendly Are We ?

Wherever possible we use recycled packaging
Office stationery is recycled
We have just invested in a solid ink printer which has a number of eco-friendly features
We only ever use peat-free compost
Old pots, trays and labels are recycled until they wear out!
British flora and fauna is our priority so the majority of plants we grow are native to this country to provide the best possible help for our native wildlife
Similarly we only use seed of native provenance
Water is collected in water butts and used as much as possible around the nursery
We are pleased to support Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Butterfly Conservation and Kent Wildlife Trust
