Plugs

We have a limited number of plugs at present, listed below.  Plugs cannot be ordered online, only by phone, fax or e-mail.  However payment can still be made by credit card over the phone or by cheque.  Each plug is 43p, including P&P - this allows for 50 plugs to be sent first class mail.  If you require more than 50 plugs, the price reduces to 33p each and they  will go by courier; the  courier charge will then apply.

If the plants you are looking for are not available in plugs we are more than happy to grow them for you to order, but payment would have to be made at time of order.  Please contact us with your requirements.

Birds Foot Trefoil (lotus corniculatus) - P.  Low-growing wildflower of grassland with yellow pea-like flowers.  Food plant of many moth and butterfly caterpillars.

Chamomile, Lawn (chamamaelum nobilis) - flowering variety, needs clipping/mowing.

Cowslip (primula veris) - dark green wrinkly leaves and stems topped with yellow flowers.

Ox-eye Daisy (leuncanthemum vulgare) - large clump-forming wildflower with large daisy flowers which butterflies love.

Red Clover (trifolium pratense) - HP.  H.  WF.  Very important bumblebee plant.  Low-growing meadow plant with pink balls of flowers.  Also a butterfly and moth plant.  Leaves provide food for the caterpillars of the Clouded Yellow and Plale Clouded Yellow butterflies, and several moths, including the Latticed Heath, Chalk Carpet, Belted Beauty and Narrow Bordered Five-spot Burnet moth.  Many herbal uses and much folk lore attached to the plant.
