P.  Ornamental Sage with rose-pink flowers.  Ht 1 ft (30 cm).

Star of the Veldt (dimorphotheca) 
   

HA.  Originally from South Africa this annual plant produces vibrant orange open-faced flowers with brown centres.  Full sun.  Once established the plants produce good weed-suppressing ground cover.

Sweet Rocket (hesperis matronalis) 
   
HP.  Fragrant plant, attracting moths.  Traditional cottage garden plant.  Ht 2 - 3 ft (60 - 92 cm). Butterfly plant and food plant of Orange-tip and Green-veined butterfly caterpillars.  Flowers June to September.  Thrives best in light shade. 

White Horehound (marrubium vulgare) 
   

HP.  H.  WF.  Square stems and grey-green, downy leaves with whorls of white flowers.  Was a common cottage garden plant in many places because of its usefulness in treating coughs.  Ht 2 ft (60 cm).

Woolly Foxglove (digitalis lanata) 
   

P.  Ht 2 ft (60 cm).  Yellow flowers.  Also known as Grecian Foxglove.  Bee and butterfly plant.  This is the Foxglove grown commercially for Digoxin.  Leaves are much thinner than common Foxglove leaves and dark green.

Yarrow - "Summer Pastels"(achillea millefolium) 
   

F2 Summer Pastels - HP.  Ht 2 ft (60 cm).  Flat panicles of tiny flowers in many pastel shades.  Cultivated version of the wild white Yarrow.
